Inkfillers Community Guidelines
Inkfillers is a community for tattoo and body-art studios, artists and enthusiasts. These Community Standards exist to keep it a safe, respectful and genuinely human place. They apply to everything you do on Inkfillers — the website, the business portal, the mobile apps and kiosk mode — and to all content you post, including images, videos, text, comments, portfolios and messages. By accepting our Terms of Service, you agree to follow these standards.

Age and child safety
- Inkfillers is for adults only. You must be 18 or older to use the platform.
- We have zero tolerance for any content that sexualizes, exploits or endangers minors. Violations lead to immediate account termination and are reported to law enforcement. See our Child Safety (CSAE) Policy.
Prohibited content and conduct
Do not post, share or engage in:
- Illegal content or activity — anything that violates applicable local or international law.
- Harassment and hate — threats, bullying, defamation, or attacks on individuals or groups based on race, color, ethnicity, religion, nationality, disability, gender, sexual orientation or gender identity.
- Sexually explicit content — photographs of body art are the heart of this platform and are welcome, including tattoos on intimate areas of the body when presented in a documentary, artistic context. Pornographic or sexually explicit content is not permitted.
- Graphic violence — content that glorifies violence or depicts gratuitous gore. Normal healing-process and fresh-tattoo photos are of course allowed.
- Dangerous misinformation — unsafe tattooing, piercing or aftercare advice that could cause harm.
- Spam and scams — repetitive or irrelevant posting, chain messages, deceptive links, fraudulent offers, or fake engagement.
- Infringing content — content that violates copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property rights. Post your own work, or work you have permission to share, with credit where it is due.
- Privacy violations — sharing someone's personal information without permission, or posting photos of identifiable people or their body art without their consent.
- Impersonation — pretending to be Inkfillers staff, another user, another studio or artist, or using duplicate or "spoofed" accounts.
- Platform abuse — hacking, malware, bots or automation, scraping, requesting or sharing login credentials, or anything that interferes with the platform or other users' enjoyment of it.
Human art and AI
At Inkfillers we cherish the human element in tattoo artistry and are committed to preserving it:
- We celebrate and promote human-created art and designs.
- Do not pass off AI-generated designs or images as your own hand-made work or as real, healed tattoos. If a design is AI-assisted, be honest about it.
- We do not willingly share user-uploaded images or videos with third parties, and we do not permit our users' content to be used for AI training.
- We actively work to block AI bots and crawlers from harvesting content on the platform.
- If you suspect content is AI-generated and presented as real work, report it.
Professional conduct for studios and artists
Business accounts represent a professional trade, and we hold them to a professional standard:
- Your portfolio must show your own work. Do not use other artists' work or misleading images to win customers.
- Get your client's consent before posting photos of their body art, and respect their wishes if they change their mind.
- Treat client information as confidential — never share customer details, consent forms or health information outside your studio.
- Use SMS and email features only as allowed by our Terms of Service: session-related messages to your own customers, and marketing only with valid consent. Spam will result in messaging features being suspended.
- Honor your bookings, deposits and gift cards, and comply with the hygiene, safety and legal requirements that apply to your business.
A community effort
We rely on our community to help keep these standards alive:
- Report content that violates these standards using the report feature on the website and in the apps, or email safety@inkfillers.com for urgent safety concerns.
- Content you dislike or disagree with does not necessarily violate our standards — you can unfollow or block accounts whose content you don't want to see.
- Do not misuse the reporting system to target other users with false reports.
Enforcement and appeals
- When content is reported or detected, our moderators review it against these standards and take action based on the severity and frequency of the violation — from removing the content, to warnings, temporary suspension or permanent account termination.
- Serious violations — including child safety violations, credible threats and illegal content — result in immediate termination and, where appropriate, reports to the authorities.
- If you believe we made a mistake with a moderation decision, you can appeal by contacting support@inkfillers.com. We will review and respond.
- We may update these standards as the community and the law evolve; the latest version always applies.
Thank you for helping us keep Inkfillers a thriving, respectful home for tattoo and body art.
